Darktrace And Endace Start Their New Partnership to Mix Cyber Artificial Intelligence & Forensics

U.K.-based cyber protection firm Darktrace has raised $50 million on its current Series E round of funding, placing the corporation's valuation at $1.65 billion.

The company said Wednesday that the financing -- directed by Vitruvian Partners, with assistance from KKR and 1011 Ventures -- could induce further international growth.

One of its goods, Antigena, is intended to automatically slow or stop attacks even if network administrators aren't present. "Antigena can do it. That could be slowing down the link or shifting it off completely. This is not about replacing your security group, but it is just about buying them time by reacting much quicker than any human being can," Gustafsson clarified.


However, Darktrace has seen compliments among clients to fully entrust their safety on artificial intelligence. "We're still seeing lots of folks not attempting to give more control of the network to the device. And we encourage that," she explained.
